Drug Rehab Center – Dual Diagnosis
The Intervention Team has also developed an Addiction Helpline for individuals who are willing to go to treatment without an intervention, but need assistance finding appropriate drug rehab centers.
Our staff members are experts at finding the appropriate drug treatment centers for you. Because we do interventions internationally, we have plenty of opportunities to tour other facility in addition to the one selected by the families we do interventions for. A lot of times, we will call the centers the day before or the day of when we want to tour simply because we want to observe how the center operates on a daily basis. We try to gather critical information regarding their specialties and the overall culture of the center. This is crucial when referring you to the center. If a center specializes in dual diagnosis or eating disorders and you need something that deals strictly with alcoholism, then that might not be the best center for you. On the same note, if you have a dual diagnosis, it may just the center for you. Your personality also comes into play when finding a treatment center. We listen and try to connect you with centers that will click with your own views and belief system.
There are also centers that work with providing alternative treatments for drug offenders. We know of several centers that have legal liaisons for the sole purpose of working with the courts while you are in treatment.
